Hard to believe this vegan ice cream has no added sugar! You get two scoops so I got two different flavors. The shop is on a lovely street and walking distance of Marienplatz in Munich - worth a visit and taste! #veganicecream #stracciatella

i found this place by accident on a trip to munich and must say: go there, if you are ever there. they serve vegan soft ice cream made from rescued bananas that otherwise would have been thrown away. they have two kinds, plain banana or chocolate and you can also get both combined. no sugar added, only sweetened with dates. small (which i had) comes with two toppings and the coolest thing is, that the cup and also the spoon are 100% edible. how cool is that?

I normally find banana based vegan ice cream too sweet because cane sugar or fructose corn syrup is added. However, my vanilla and chocolate soft serve at Keep Banana was superb. Lightly sweetened with dates, which has a low glycemic index, my tummy flora and taste buds were happy eating it. And it was soft serve! The toppings were healthy, ranging from fresh blueberries, to raw cacao chips, to dried coconut flakes. The spoons and cups are all edible and low sugar. They also sell all different types of vegan banana breads.
