Please excuse the presentation- I got take out and obviously it looks nothing like how this would be presented if you ate in at the restaurant. This #ramen place is so good that I ate there both last night and tonight! It’s our favourite spot in Vancouver. I did order a lot of extras for this one, including #spicy #beansprouts, #greenonion, #corn, #broccolini, #bokchoy and #impossible (so just a few) 🤦🏻‍♂️ Without the extras, it would have cost $24, but after the additions, it was $40. Was it worth it? The jury’s still out. 😂

They were sold out of these the last time that I went. Fortunately not today. They weren’t really crispy as the name suggests, but they were absolutely delicious. The sauce was amazing.

wow. best appetizer. ever. the crispy cauliflower was the perfect tenderness and mix of a crispy exterior. there was sauteed garlic and pine nuts that were crunchy and added such a depth in flavour, and some crispy mint leaves that tasted crisp and delicious. and then there was the sauce it was coated in. oh it sent me to heaven with the angels. a lime sauce was smothered all over it that gave it such a unique flavour and coating i have never tasted anything quite like it. it is $8 for a small dish but is so worth it if you come here. an absolute must. no excuses. #veganisnotscary

omg. yum. so in van, on a saturday evening, and it is raining more water than you thought was possible, all you want is a hot bowl of ramen. boy did this hit the spot and more. do not be scared of the spicy in it’s name. i recently learnt the difference between spice and heat, so while this is spicy, it doesn’t have heat - which was so interesting and delicious. the noodles were the perfect texture and thickness, the mushrooms were cut in a similar shape which made it such an adventure on your palate both taste and texture wise. the broth was flavourful and comforting, with crispy pieces of onion, scallions and more floating around for s nice crunch. the tofu (by my knowledge) tasted and felt like silken extra firm tofu which was bomb and absorbed the flavour of the broth so well. the setting of this place is so cool, you are surrounded by window and we got the corner seat with glass on both sides… best seat in the house. this place was packed to the brim and for a good reason. my new go to. so unbelievably delicious. #veganisnotscary

This ramen was delicious. Not as spicy as I had hoped/was expecting, but I enjoyed it. Also wish that it had chunks of portobello mushrooms like I’ve had at another place, but it was a solid dish nonetheless.
