This dish comes with 2 eggplant parmigiana steaks with ‘brie’ cheese, sweet potato fries, mesclun greens and a dip.
The eggplant itself was a generous serving of 2 servings that were juicy and succulent and melts in the mouth. It lacked a bit of seasoning but the ‘brie’ that was on there made up for it as it was full of flavour.
The sweet potato fries were a bit of a let down. They were huge however rather flowery and a bit soggy and we couldn’t finish it all. The rest of the plate was mesclun greens however because of the hot food on top became soggy and wilted quickly.
The dish made us feel rather heavy quickly which is a shame because the brie really was delicious. This dish was $22.
The staff member that took our orders and brought them out and who we paid at the end was very nice. However the server that greeted us at the door and brought us our drinks had a bad vibe. She seemed annoyed when we asked if we could sit at the booth (because she had to wipe the table) and then we she brought us our drinks she literally said ‘here’s your drinks’ plonked then down on the edge of the table and walked off. Rather then putting them in front of us and giving us a smile.
It’s not a big deal but these small gestures make a big difference to your experience especially when you’re paying a decent amount of money.
