What Sa Po? No claypot despite the excruciating pain of dining in (no air-conditioning) ❌ Been a while since my last visit; dining space has shrank by a quarter (turned into an eyesore of a storeroom housing sacks of rice 😑) Melamine bowls and plates have gotten a 'makeover' as well 👉 disposables everywhere other than cutlery No #bakkutteh warming vibes and no splatter of sesame oil in another side order of wanton soup. At least I got some of my required amount of vegetables in this dish. The dumplings 🥟 are decently filled and are delicious. 😋 This was basically a broth with dumplings and vegetables. #veganisnotscary

Doesn’t look like anything special. But this was decently close to the original. The original dish uses barbecued pork, that has a sweet glaze. So, taste wise, thumbs up 👍🏼 As you have already noticed the sad amount of vegetables on this plate. That’s how the original dish is served. Can you imagine eating the original meat-based dish with just a few slices of cucumber?? 🥒 Many people like eat this on a regular basis. 😳 Hence, why I ordered the next dish in my post.

Its #duck day, braised to a dark chewy, shreddy state on a bed of uber broad #ricenoodles aka #horfun which I'm never a fan of. Much prefer Malaysia's baby thin version (like those found in Ipoh or Penang) for easy pick up and better gravy to #carbsforlife ratio. Although a little pricey for the amount of ingredients it contains. It is definitely worth a try, only available on weekend. The laksa sauce fried together have a thick nonya laksa flavour to it for those who enjoy laksa. Although it only contains some beancurd it is quite tasty to have. I would suggest come in group and get this to share with your friends.

This was so good??? Appreciate that the mee sua they use is more like yee mee so that it doesn't get soggy and that they load this bowl with veggies and tofu and tofu skin! Quite a light meal but very hearty #veganisnotscary #noodles

The chicken was made of beancurd skin, fried to a crisp, quite nice. Rice was fragrant and tasty. Chilli was very spicy but a tad sweet.

$6.30 for a nest of #carbsforlife and not exactly the healthiest form of #noodles dish out there (#wheat derived, eggfree) for vegans 😜 We have the mandatory #deepfry to get it to crisp up, so defo a texture win on that score and the subsequent drench in light, starchy vegetable gravy along with the mock and #eatyourgreens. Available only on weekends but $7 for a substantial amount! A bit more spicy than the soupy laksa because it's dry but I'll go for the soupy laska next time!
