Loved this #sandwich! They do quite a few #vegansandwiches in this #cafe, and they’re massive! I got the Bluebird Bakery sourdough but you can also get white and granary. The #falafel was warm and flavourful, and went well with the hummus and crunchy salad. I didn’t have the crisps but the side salad was nice! I’m wasn’t sure about this. I think any hot drink would have tasted nice after freezing outside the cafe in the queue for 15 mins, but it didn’t taste how I was expecting. It was sort of aniseed flavoured (I didn’t get any beetroot at all) and was bright pink, so didn’t seem very natural. Nonetheless, it was still nice and not too pricy, and they have vegan versions of all their hot drinks 😊 #beetroot #beetrootlatte #hotdrink #latte #veganyork

This sandwich was massive! And so delicious 😋 The sourdough was from the local Bluebird Bakery and was super soft and tasty. The fillings were mushroom, roasted peppers, lettuce, chimichurri and hummus, which was a great flavour combo. It also came with homemade salad and crisps (I gave the crisps to my sister). Sorry about the terrible photo! I’m not the biggest fan of violife vegan cheese so I asked for them to leave it out and they didn’t :/ which made they meal slightly unpleasant for me. I’m not sure how well the chilli flakes fit with the rest of the flavours either. The pancakes were also kind of hard and stale? 😂 Apart from that, the mushrooms were really good and I loved their homemade beans! Mmm so good! This #cafe does lots of vegan options and all of their #yogurt #milkshakes could be veganised. I got this banana one and it was indulgent and refreshing at the same time :) I think they added lots of vanilla too and freeze the yogurt because it reminded me of melted ice cream, but there was a strong #banana flavour too. This was much bigger than I thought it was going to be! So sadly I couldn’t finish it all :’( It contained perhaps the best cooked jackfruit I have ever had - it was flavoured almost exactly how I remember chicken tikka tasting (I’m not sure if that was their aim), with quite a meaty-texture too! All the other veg was very fresh and colourful, all on a bed of salad leaves, and the pitta was soft and warm.
