This dish was INSANE! So delicious, very unique in its fusion between Western and South Asian cuisine. This was so tasty, and very reasonably priced considering it tasted like dessert from a 5 star hotel. Will be purchasing that every time I go back!

Ok so this is actually about 8 different dishes that came out all at once and overwhelmed our senses in the best way possible. Chana Dhal Vadai Vegetable Curry Basmati Rice String Hoppers Regular Hoppers (ordered on top) Amma’s Dhal Kale Seeni Sambol Pol Sambol There was a hugely generous amount of food which became my lunch the next day. Everything was fragrant and to my level of spice tolerance. Will definitely be going back to support this social enterprise and give a better break down of each dish 🤪

Is it too early to call this one of my favourite restaurants ... Colombo Social is a social enterprise kitchen, serving up soulful Sri Lankan food and vibrant cocktails while providing employment opportunities, practical experience and training for Asylum Seekers. Caramelised onion and spicy beetroot fritters served with coconut yoghurt raita and a tangy date & lime pickle. Part of the vegan set menu we ordered 🥰
