Unfortunately it’s liquids for me here in Costa Rica. I’ve had extensive dental work, and no chewing for a month😳😳😳. Here is my PSA as well: if I weren’t such a soda head I wouldn’t have needed all of the dental, hint hint. Everything in moderation, y’all, is the key. Back to the review. The atmosphere is incredible here at Caffe Negroni, it literally has everything…water, lights, beautiful flora AND fauna, as wonderful Costa Rica is just fine with cats and dogs everywhere. They are welcomed and wanted!! I ordered the Booster Negroni, which was a lovely plant smoothie. It featured almond milk, bananas, strawberries, and peanut butter, and was delicious and satisfying. It was however, kind of disconcerting for it to be served room temperature. I’m quite used to no ice, as I’ve left the States on occasion, but still was not expecting this to be warm. It took a moment to get used to… which also brings me to a travel tip; I spent several trips to different stores looking for plant milks, and was quite disappointed. I accidentally found it though, and it is not in the refrigerated section. All of the plant milks are with the dry goods., and are obviously shelf stable. We do have those in the States, although that section is not as expansive, and usually the bigger containers are refrigerated. Now I know! And so do you if you didn’t, lol!🤗😝😆🤩 I highly recommend visiting at night, as well; Caffe Negroni is absolutely gorgeous with their expansive lighting. Looks like a veritable oasis from the street.
