The closest to that horrible brand you will ever get. My husband and I get three to share so we always get a bit extra because it’s that good. They still use polystyrene through which is really disappointing so take your own containers if you can.

This brownie was also amazing. Nice big size for 20 rand. Taste and texture is more like a sort of malva pudding type brownie as opposed to a hard one. So more cake vibes. Would certainly buy again. Loved it. #veganbrownie #vegan #chocolate #chocolatebrownie #buttercup

This was PERFECTION! One of the best vegan comfort meals ever. I used to love that KFC taste with the mash and gravy, which I haven't had for maybe ten years now, and this was so good, probably even better than the KFC taste 😃😃 The size and quantity was also perfect and filling. 25/90 This is such a nice burger but its a shame that the "chicken" is so so salty. You have to have something to drink in order to manage eating this in one go. Other than the saltiness though, the burger is tasty and the mayonnaise and coleslaw really makes it that much nicer. #veganisnotscary

The KFV Meal from Buttercup Cafe in Durban is sublime!! This seitan-based battered "chicken" is the best I've ever had. I doubt there's a better one anywhere!! It's served with mash and gravy and coleslaw. Remember to ask for utensils if you're not eating it at home. My favourite vegan restaurant meal even though it's takeaway only. Phone ahead to order. Tastes incredible, my go-to meal when I'm Durban. Just like KFC, only better. 🤗

Super filling, crispy seitan chicken fillet on a burger bun with garnish. Really delicious and the coating is just like I remember KFC being!

This was so flipping delicious and tasted so similar, I really recommend trying this burger. Roll was soft and the KFV patty was cooked perfectly. Will definitely be having this again #veganin2020

The kfv meal has amazing 'chicken', seasoned to perfection and the texture is amazing, perfect for newly plantbased ppl, the gravy is on the bland side and not really my cup of tea. I have no complaints for the kfv burger, amazing experience, will certainly come again. Adding chairs for waiting is also a great idea.

This meal was great! Picture doesn’t do it justice. So similar to the real thing. One note: wish the ‘chicken’ was firmer in texture, but otherwise was good!

This vegan version of KFC is even tastier than the "real" things and definitely our favourite take away food. It does have a rather peppery taste, so if you dont like pepper you might not enjoy it as much. Or order the burger as together with the slaw and roll, its not that peppery. ☆☆☆
