This thing promised to be hot and #spicy and it absolutely delivered 😀 It was so flaming hot that I almost didn't notice the otherwise unwelcome (and unsolicited, and unannounced) presence of the #evilweed 😒 It's not just #tofu that you get (in two forms in fact - #silkentofu and #tofupuffs), there's also #okra and #monkeyheadmushroom, all in abundance 😋 There's loads of #whiterice but not nearly enough to counterbalance the hard-hitting #mala 🤤 Not for the faint of heart. This isn't the best shot because it was actually taken from inside a bar. Said bar absolutely couldn't veganise any of their food, and reluctantly allowed is to order our own stuff in on GrabFood 😅

Omg delicious 😋 I am so glad to see that BMS Organics now offers #oatmilk based alternatives for some of the classic #malaysianeats that unfortunately tend to be tainted with dairy! I used to go to BMS a lot when I was still discovering vegetarianism, and after having reviewed their entire menu I lapsed into #forthedollar mode and just stopped going back 😂 What a nice surprise - #fishbeehoonsoup, meet 2025! My one complaint would be how stingy they were with the ingredients given their price point 😒 Two thin slices of the #veganfish and 4 modest pieces of #fakemeat #fishtofu. Come on that's #daylightrobbery

Fiery and #spicy and everything that I usually look for in my #noodles, but something about the taste combination just didn't fly with my palate 🤨 Perhaps it was the attempt to adulterate #tomyam with #oatmilk (I've always thought it was either coconut milk or plain 😐) Also thought they could've been that little bit more generous with toppings!

Good God, #kombu #pumpkin #mushroomsoup with #multigrain #rice which part of that doesn't sound #toohealthy 😔 Giving it a low nutrition score because that scale is inverted for me 🤪 Also don't know whose great idea it was to submerge rice in a huge bowl of soup. I'll say it now - it doesn't work 😖

It's rare that you catch me drinking #tea, it's rare that I even want a hot drink, especially not after a midday gym trip 😳 But here I was, #forthedollar 😉 Told them not to put honey in, just in case 🤷‍♂️ I think they really laid the sugar on by way of revenge, but that suits me right down to a tee 😋 Good kick of #ginger btw

Loved the inventiveness of using #beehoon with #leicha, loved the superb presentation with that elegant teapot and the ingredients segregated into tiny ceramic dishes, but this was just #toohealthy 😔 Raw #cashew nuts where others would use kacang goreng, no fried tofu, and a litany of raw vegetables (#lettuce, #sweetcorn, #carrot, chopped #longbeans, #cabbage, #cucumber, and pickled #ginger). The highlight was probably the #eryngii mushroom bits. The #tea sauce was okay rather than outstanding 😐 See pictures 2 and 3 for how this gets transformed 😉

Ask them if it's vegan. Blank stare. Tell them there's an egg in the photo on the menu and you want it removed. Yes, that can be done. Ask if there's any milk in the #greencurry. No, there isn't. Ask if they dress the vegetables/salad with anything dairy. Okay, they won't. Get your meal and find that they put dairy mayonnaise *on the #rice itself* like why would you even 🙄 Everything else was fine, the #eryngii #mushroom actually combined rather well with the #spicy stuff. I'd consider getting this again (RM13.90 is a good price at MVM), but customising this is a veritable odyssey 😳

A #purple #oat based drink, available hot or cold. RM6.90 which I thought was excellent value for something with such ostensible #toohealthy claims 😛 Flavour not necessarily the best, too mealy for me. And I thought Minoa was a bronze age Greek settlement 🤨

Yes, that is a bowl full of raw vegetables and #mushroom. Yes, the only carbs in sight were a few tiny specks of #quinoa. Yes, there wasn't a single fried thing 😨 But no, I haven't lost the plot and gone #toohealthy; I'm merely doing things #forthedollar, and also the thought of a cold meal after a cardio-heavy session was inviting ☺️ Thank god for the grilled mushroom though - the #hericium, the #eryngii, and the #oystermushroom. Wouldn't have made it without them 😅 I made up for this meal with something beautifully deep-fried, which you'll see in a future review 😇
