Not bad, but also not great. Made with what they call “chorifu” which is supposed to be a vegan version of chorizo, but don’t expect the bold flavorful soyrizo that you get prepackaged from a grocery store. This is basically just crumbled tofu with hardly any seasoning. I personally like tofu, so it was ok for me, but i like my homemade prepared tofu much better, and my homemade tacos even more, so I won’t de ordering this again, nor any of their other dishes, which is just substituted with this. Even the taco shells were bland and so soft that they layered 2 for each, and they still fell apart. I personally pan-fry mine, but I think they probably pop them in a microwave. My favorite part of these tacos were the pico de gallo, but it was just a tiny scoop. At least they seem knowledgeable on what vegan is. They were upfront about the rice not being vegan, nor the horchata, but the beans and potatoes are. I opted out of the potatoes, so they gave me extra beans If I were to come back again, I would get something more simple, like chips, salsa, and guacamole. This is a cute little place and in the middle of Oahu, where there’s not many vegan options. I pass through here when going to the North Shore, my favorite spot to snorkel, so it may be worth giving this place another shot someday if my favorite Indian place nearby isn’t open and if I don’t feel like waiting until I get home to make something.  #mexican #tacos #veganoahu
