They’ve got a 2-for-1 promotion going on for these #noodles at the moment 😮 …except they actually don’t 🤨 In typical Life Cafe fashion the discount is only available for their non-vegan noodles. Seriously Kuching, how hard is it to #droptheegg? 🐣 We paid double for the regular #spicy noodles with the #vermicelli instead. 3/4 noodle options here have egg, so while their food is excellent I must admit I feel envious when I see my mother chow down on their green #spinach noodles 🥬 They do so much right but I seriously think they ought to #dobetter on their vegan options 🤥

Let it be known that Life Cafe is (in my opinion) THE #omnivegandining spot of Kuching 👌 Or should i say.. spotS cuz diz place a chain 😉 which means even if you don’t see this reviewed on the other branches here! SO! The #spicy #poached #dumpling are hands down the best #dumplings to order here for those looking for the most unrelenting, flavourful punch 🤪 It’s either this or the unsauced poached OR fried option 😋 which are all still nice and #savoury with the same #mockmeat and #cabbage filling 🥟 However, the additional complexity from the #spice #heat and #slight sweetness just can’t be beat 😍 You can even adjust the spice level to your preference! At RM15.90 may be considered a little steep but for 8 delectable and filling pieces, it’s way worthwhile 🫶 The entirety of the #vegetarian options are #vegan anyway so it’s so easy to order! 😜 P.S. they’re the best option past 8-9 when all the other vegetarian restaurants are closed 🤫

RM24.90 for this ginormous serving ☝️ I absolutely recommend it 🙌 Just remember that only the #vermicelli is #eggfree 🥲 I just got tired of white rice 🍚 #veganinkuching #noodlelover #welikeitspicy

Overpriced @ RM16 for a single, short roll of (starchy) #meat if I were to piece em together. Sweet, bouncy, fat and thick (still very much unjustifiable) with julienned #carrots for texture #meatroll #sausage

There’s nothing I can say here that I haven’t already said in my previous review of these #dumplings at their other branch 🤭 https://www.abillion.com/dishes/life-cafe-train-terrace-spicy-vegetarian-dumpling-10368863 #abillionhacks 😉 They have the perfect ratio of #dumpling skin to filling, some #mince of vegetables and whatnot with the perfect punch of #spicy brushed over 🌶️ You get to pick the level of spice too! I’d recommend an XL for spice demons cause it really isn’t all too hot 😇 Though the insides sure are! Take small bites or allow it to cool down before eating the whole thing 😬 Do I really need to explain this to adults still? 🤦‍♀️

If you’re looking for plant-based #lorbak / #ngorhiang, this is the one the get 😋 At least if you’re going to dine in a omni-vegan friendly outlet 🥢 I don’t know why in my other review I rated it a flat 3 stars https://www.abillion.com/dishes/life-cafe-train-terrace-veg-meat-roll-10352522 ✨ They deserve so much more credit for that 🙌 The only nitpick is that they only serve it with #chillisauce and lack any other vegan dips 🛸

If you’re not in the mood for their #spicy noodles this is the way to go! The #veganfriedchicken is just so delicious either way 😋 You don’t get the same #chickenstrips topping as their #mushroom noodles in spite it’s name insinuating #mushrooms 🍄 but I suppose there is an #umami flavour to the underlying broth 🤷‍♀️ Again, only the #vermicelli is their only #eggfree option in spite of how appealing their spinach noodles may sound 🥲 The portion is perfect to split by the way! I love #mushrooms! 🍄 ..and their #veganfriedchicken which is why this isn’t usually my first choice, but it makes sense that when I order the #noodles with #chicken on the side @m1tch9i orders this so we can split the portion 😇 https://www.abillion.com/dishes/life-cafe-veg-chicken-chop-with-curry-sauce-mushroom-noodle-10391404 🥢 Your only option for noodles is the #vermicelli as the rest (awfully) contain #egg 😢 Due diligence has been done to check that the #fakemeat in all their branches is #eggfree though, as a friend of Michelle’s worked at their factory 🏭 The #chickenstrips over the noodles are really good 😋 I’d highly recommend it!

Perhaps the dish that I most enjoyed from the evening out with @dafnelately and @m1tch9i, these #dumplings were stuffed full of flavour, and that #spicy sauce complemented the dense meatiness perfectly. I even used it for some of my other food 😛 P.S. I am enjoying being somewhere in Malaysia and not being the first one to review a dish 🤪

Solid but unspectacular. Standard wannabe #lorbak slash meat roll 😅 Texture halfway to a sausage, but better than some of the more flagrantly #fakemeat approaches out there. They provide only sweet chilli sauce, not fresh chilli, upon request 😐 Perhaps RM15 for 5 slices is a bit "premium" for Sarawak?

It’s the crunch along with the #curry that does it for me 😋 The nice thing about non-avian #chicken though is that unlike the latter that tastes like murder, this soy-maybe mash up of whatever doesn’t get too dry when #deepfried! It’s as if the #sweetdreamsaremadeofgrease life was never meant to be accomplice to violence 🤫 RM23.90 on my Singaporean wallet doesn’t feel too bad either & a life in Penang has trained me for much worse! 😂 This is actually the best thing I’ve had at Life Café, #bestpicks for sure! 🙌
