First time seeing and trying the yeast extract from Tesco's range. Had it stirred in with savoury porridge. Yummy.

A good brand of yeast extract, although personally I can't taste all that much difference between them!
You either love it or hate it. Well i live it on cheese on toast.
Just like marmite but cheaper and a tad runnier. Doesn't contain barley but has a 'may contain' warning so may be ok for other gluten intolerant people like me but beware if coeliac.
If you're looking for a cheaper version of Marmite for your toast/seitan/other savoury dishes, then this is the product for you. It has a slightly runner texture and fewer seasonings than Marmite, but it has that lovely deep umami kick that you either love or hate. Very reasonably priced, tasty, AND fortified with B12.
