MorningStar Farms was probably one of the first plant-based options I can remember from 2010 before I went vegan in 2015. I bought them back then because I liked the idea of eating plants over animals. I believe now most of their products are vegan! I feel these chicken nuggets are just as good as any of the other brands of vegan chicken nuggets and are noticeably cheaper in price. The packaging needs an overhaul because it's made with multi layers and not recyclable.
Bought at Ralph's; I've tried them both cooked in the microwave and in a pan. The pan-cooked were better 'cause they get crunchy, while they stay pretty soggy when microwaved, as expected. The taste is good, goes perfectly with ketchup. They are "less chicken-y" than other vegan chicken nuggets I've tried, but still very tasty and valid! I still have to try to cook them in the oven and see how they turn out #veganchicken #frozen
