Vegetable Dumplings

These little dumpling pouches are so cute and tasty! I prefer dumplings steamed (most of the time) so that’s how I prepared these. Perhaps there could be a bit more filling, but the flavor is quite nice and I love that they are bite sized. Super satisfying. #veggiedumplings #dimsum #vegantraderjoes

So now Trader Joe’s has, what, 3 different veg dumpling options for us? 🥟🥟🥟 This one was delightful. They are somewhat translucent and a pretty flower shape, making them lovely for serving others, with a nice chew to the wrapper and a flavorful filling. Steam on a small piece of parchment paper to prevent sticking!

Wow, these dumplings are incredible! I pan fried them and ate the entire packet of 12 dumplings in one sitting. They were so good that I just didn't want to stop. These dumplings are semi-transparent. The wrapper is a little chewy. I pan fried/steamed then until the bottoms are crispy. I also love chives, so these are just perfect with a little soy sauce and hot sauce. They hold their shape well unlike regular dumplings which break easily. $3.99 for a dozen. One serving is 3 pieces. The package comes in 4 servings of 12 pieces totally. I ate them all. Now I need to go back to the store to get more.

These are a fun little snack to eat as a side to a meal but not the best to try to just eat a bunch of them for a meal. They aren’t anything to write home about but they are ok. I’ll try them again.

I was really exited to try these and they were good! Not one of the best dumplings 🥟 I’ve had but good for a frozen one! Very chive forward!
