Vegan Tikka Masala

Good tomato based curry sauce. The consistency is perfect. I really enjoy adding tofu and carrots to it.

I was missing my friends in blighty last night, so I thought I'd cook myself a version of something which is celebrating 20 years as Britain's national dish 😉 I use the term "cook" very loosely - it doesn't get much more #lazyvegan than this 😏 I had expected to have to run around and add a whole lot of other condiments and spices, but no - just sautée your vegetables and fake meats, and then throw this #sauce in to simmer for 12-15 minutes 😌 The taste was slightly too sour and the nutritional details show a bit more salt than some people would be comfortable with. It's not particularly cheap, but it does scream vegan 😙 #quintessentiallybritish #indianfood 😛

This was so good! Perfect for a nice easy and quick dinner. I was super low on produce so I put this over soy curls, chickpeas, and brown rice. It was the perfect level of spice. I added 1/4 cup of water since I like my tikki masala a little bit thinner. I love rice so much, I recently bought a second rice cooker (bc it was cheaper than just buying a second bowl—what I really wanted). This sauce with rice and some unchicken strips and/or whatever veggies you have is a great, quick dinner #uplandspeak

Changed my life!!!!! This is sooo easy to use, just put this and veggies in the instant pot for 4 hours and it was some of the best curry I’ve had/ certainly ever made. Cant recommend enough
