Vegan Sweet Chili Tofu

If you live in Queens or Nassau County, make your way to an Iavarone Bros gourmet grocery store and implore them to make their vegan sweet chili tofu a staple on their menu. While this store caters to lovers of meat, cheese and pasta (I love one of those things with an unquestionable fervor), every now and then there is a really great vegan option in their deli case. I, lacking any and all willpower and self-control when it comes to sweet and spicy vegan food, purchased enough to last me the entire week. When I’m done, I will mourn and wistfully think upon my poor choice to get just one container instead of ten. Iavarone Bros, I cant eat your incredible tomato and orzo soup anymore, but your sweet chili tofu almost—almost—makes up for it.
