Vegan Melting Mature

I finally decided to eat it, a little after its best before date. I had accidentally stumbled upon it in the store’s cheese section. I thought this “melting” cheese was something like “grilling” cheese. I thought it would just  get soft when I heated it up; I didn’t think it would actually melt and do what the label indicated. Surprisingly, it actually melted. It was nice and gooey, cheese strings were pulled. I didn’t melt it as much as I could have, fearing it would stick to my pan. But it didn’t. I ate a couple pieces on their own place and a couple others on some vegan chicken strips. It was delicious either way. I will try making a pizza with us. Nutritionally, this cheese is a great source of vitamin B12, with a respectable amount of calcium too. It’s a little heavy on the saturated fat though. I will look for this again.

Very nice cheddary taste. I've had it in grilled cheese and on pizza, and just sliced on bread with vegan butter. Excellent in all cases. Also grates nicely.

Not my favourite vegan cheese. And doesn’t melt that well actually? A bit disappointed!

This cheese was really nice and had a decently strong flavour. Better than most! I like both varieties of theirs that I’ve tried.
