Vegan Blue

Bello compatto, sia in termini di consistenza che di sapore. L’ho provato insieme alla pasta fredda, non era male come combo. 4 su 5

#vegancheese #veganbluecheese #ditchdairy I bought this vegan blue cheese for the first time to add to my impromptu charcuterie offerings. I got it from Metro.  I love the taste of this cheese. It definitely tastes like blue cheese, at least to me. It doesn’t crumble like dairy blue cheese, but for me, it doesn’t matter. I’m not that picky about it and I don’t like making comparisons to what we’ve all been accustomed to in our pre-vegan days. It’s delicious and that’s all that matters to me. My non-vegan friend was also very impressed with it.  I really like that there’s no palm oil in it. Instead coconut oil has been used. Palm oil seems to be very ubiquitous, so it’s nice to see something without it.  Like most cheese, there is a lot of fat in this. But there’s also a lot of vitamin B 12.  I would still get this again and definitely recommend it. 

I really liked the flavor of this blue “ cheese” . Very similar to the actual thing . However the consistency is hard , not crumbly like blue cheese so doesn’t have the same effect in a salad . Still it’s a great option !

This is the only vegan blue cheese I've ever tried - tastes similar to blue cheese I used to eat in pre-vegan days, but is a bit rubbery (blue cheese was normally more crumbly). Okay, but probably won't get again.

First time finding a vegan blue cheese. I thought that it was cool that it has spirulina in it. Flavour was pretty close to the real thing! 👍🏼
