When I used to live in the US, Trader Joe’s was my favorite grocery store, so I couldn’t not pay a visit while in New York. I got this almond milk chai-flavored drink for breakfast. Out of all the traditional spices usually found in chai, cinnamon was the strongest one in this mix and since I love cinnamon I found this super tasty. Like many drinks here, the sugar content is pretty high and so are its calories. This refrigerated protein drink from #traderjoes tastes great, but it's hard to get over the huge amount of added sugars.🙈 I typically pour a bit of this in my morning coffee because it adds both a creaminess, #protein and spices. It's made with Chai spices, vanilla, almond milk and coconut cream . I really like the creamy consistency and I like that you can't taste the #coconut much at all. It doesn't take away from Chai spice. One bottle has two servings, and 16 grams of protein per bottle. It also has 30 grams of added sugars. The nutritional profile on this isn't great, but it makes for a nice treat.
