I’ve been looking forward to trying Silk’s #teamsoy yogurts for quite some time but was always put off by the price. They’re normally $2.49 at Safeway, but were on special a little while ago at $1.25/cup. I stocked up on all of the soy flavors, so let the reviewing commence! This sweet, #berrylover #yogurt comes with strawberry bits/seeds and vitamin D2, which are always appreciated. I was unsure what to expect of the texture, as some reviews proclaimed its thickness, while others disagreed. I personally consider it to be more on the thin/liquid side — it was a bit separated and took some stirring to achieve the proper creamy consistency. 11g of added sugar is more than I prefer, but I like that this yogurt smells and tastes like real fruit, and wholesomely derives its pinkish blush from fruit and vegetable juices. I enjoyed this as a special #ditchdairy treat and would definitely be open to buying it again on sale! The (world’s smallest) strawberry in the photo is home-grown and doing its best.
