🫛This #sriracha 🌶️ #tofu was ready to eat which is a great #lazyvegan staple to have in the fridge. My partner made this awesome quinoa salad with it with pomegranate seeds, parsley, cucumber, tomatoes, lettuce, and a garlicky mustard dressing. In another version he used avocado too. i enjoyed the convenience and flavor of this tofu, although i feel like it could have been spicier or stronger. it definitely required some extra sriracha to spice it up, and i piled on more sauce after taking the picture 😭 for what it is, i think it is a good product; however, i do prefer homemade sriracha tofu. i do appreciate that it is ready to throw on top of whatever i’m cooking if i don’t have the time to make my own! #traderjoes #sriracha #tofu #vegantraderjoes
I rarely make tofu at home because I can never make it taste as good as it does in restaurants. But I enjoyed this one, consistency was rrally firm and tasty. Would be useful to have better cooking instructions - was I supposed to add oil or is it enough to cook it in the sauce that comes with it. I put it in my salad and it was quite nice, and the sriracha flavor was not very strong. Update: Have repurchased it many times since, it’s the only tofu I buy.
This was okay. Not as flavorful as I would have expected for the extra cost. It's tossed in some light sauce but not really marinated. In the future I will continue to purchase plain tofu and season it myself.
