The breading was thick and crunchy and the inside was chicken-like. I had mine with agave mustard sauce.
They are tough and chewy inside but the outside coating has plenty of flavour and crunch.
I avoid gluten and have been disappointed by how many vegan chicken products are gluten based. I was so happy to see a gluten free chicken product! To me, it tasted exactly how I remember chicken strips. The panko could maybe have been more seasoned but the way I used this product (in a buffalo/ caesar bowl) with sauces on top it tasted great! 14 strips in a box and it was about $7. Great value given how so many vegan products would have those numbers reversed! Will absolutely be buying again!
despite having cooked it for a long time, it always remains a bit hard! Good taste !
