Soft citrus

Easy to peel, sweet and delicious! A great snack 🍊🍊🍊

#vitaminc season. Citrus is currently in season here in SA, and I do make use of the opportunity. These naartjies (clementines) are delicious, they are juicy and sweet and so far seedless. They also peel very easy. I did get the one or two that was very dry (pic 2 on the right) that were impossible to eat, it was white and hard. The peel were dark orange in colour, which means it is suppose to be ripe and ready, I don't mind the one or two bad fruits per box or pack as nothing is perfect. The smell of these #nectarine is refreshing, and they just look inviting. Besides the #vitaminc that is good for especially this time of season, Citrus is also a good source of fibre. I'm not sure if I have mentioned it before, but Citrus peel or the fruit is not good for composting as it kills worms. #fruit #citruslover
