Jewelled Saffron Rice

This is my favourite ready to eat salad from the supermarket, closely followed by the

lentil ancient grain salad. This is probably a bit sweet to honestly feel like I’m eating healthy, but it does have a lot of goodies in it: almonds, black/wild rice, c raisins, carrot, herbs. The rice appears to be basmati and is listed as saffron cooked basmati on the packaging so I am just pleased it’s not jasmine rice. It’s a pretty wholesome salad.

A very tasty and nutritious ready made meal. I cooked a curry sauce to go

with it but was also very nice on its own. 😋

Bought this to take for Xmas lunch. Tucked in early though! Tastes pretty good for

a pre-made salad. Will def buy this again for summer BBQs. A bit expensive but buying all the ingredients to make it myself would probably cost more so...

A tasty and aromatic mix with almonds, carrot, rice, lentils, cranberries, and parsley. The rice

(a mix of basmati and wild) is firm and not a disintegrated mush, cranberries are a nice pop of sweetness, and visually it's a pretty mix. #rice 🍚
