Plantaardig Gehakt

It stinks. They obviously worked hard to make it smell like meat. And that's exactly NOT what you want as vegetarian or veganist. When you start baking the product it releases 'juice' that even has a slightly red (blood like!!!) look and smells like meat. So my stomach started turning. Baking it is a dread. You have to keep adding oil because it sticks to the pan (hardly moves). The taste is also too meaty for me and I was tasting it for the rest of the evening. This product as an almost lifelong vegetarian and veganist is a no go for me. The question is why are meat replacements more and more directed to let die hard meat eaters 'enjoy' meat replacement? Who cares? The replacements should be adapted to the taste and want of the clean vegan way of life.
