Plant-Based roasted turkey burger

I absolutely loved the vegan turkey burgers from Trader Joe’s, as well as their later ground iteration. I was hoping that this product would be similar. Unfortunately I don’t feel as it is nearly as good; though I seasoned it well, it was quite bland. The burgers released a lot of grease, so I’d suggest either using a small spritz of spray oil or not using any if preparing on a non-stick pan. The burgers are a nice size, though, and offer a decent amount of protein. Went to village grocer and found a plethora of alternatives to try although a little pricy so went with these bad boys. And I suggested to my mum that we should have lettuce burgers to make it healthy. Yes me. Like who am I? And where has the real Jash gone😂 It turned out really good and refreshing when paired with all that leafy goodness and the patty was delish but not in a meaty way but I guess it’s meant to replicate Turkey which at this point I’m proud to say I can’t even remember how it taste. Proof that we can relearn what we crave for 😉 and that my friends is why #veganisnotscary P.S. low key dig how their packaging low key mimcs like meat industry packaging vibes with green pastures and stuff. Except for the meat industry they are selling a delusion from reality.

Got this from Village Grocer. It was very easy to cook. Used lettuce instaed of buns. Topped it with sliced red pepper, tomato, onion and avocado. It was very filling and satisfying. Must try product.

I don’t exactly remember what ground turkey tasted like. Even BV, before vegan, I didn’t eat it. And I didn’t eat this as a burger like the company intends, I crumbled the patties and made enchiladas. But I like the concept. It reminds me a little of the Match Meats that are nowhere to be found now. I hope the price comes down someday.
