Plant-based Roast Duck

This stuff is seriously incredible. The texture and taste are spot on. Have used a couple of times, but most recently in a fried rice that really ended up tasting like takeaway. So good.

One of my faves - so tasty! But the price has gone up a bit over the last few years so def only a “sometimes” food… Pretty good carb to protein ratio. Nice in salad, and with Asian style noodles. #brisbanevegans #fauxmeat

One word. Delicious. I honestly can’t say I know what Duck tastes like as I’ve never eaten it so I cannot compare, but this is yummy! I pan fried it and it went nice and crispy on the outside and it was soft on the inside. It was a nice salad topper. #dogsofabillion

Whipped this up in 10min for dinner because I was running really late on making us food. Have used this vegan roast duck before and it's so, so good. Can't get enough of it. This was a really quick cooking job, so I just roasted these in the oven. Marinated in some vegan hoisin sauce, soy sauce, sesame oil and some herbs and spices (like ground ginger, garlic salt, lemon pepper, etc.). Thought it'd be a good opportunity to show how they cook when done in a basic way and to show the texture of the inside cooked. So here it is. This duck has incredible texture and the flavour is sensational. It's easy to bake or fry and can be used in many different ways. This is just a basic way but there are many options. This product has never stressed me out to cook or turned out badly. #veganisnotscary Side note: That's just baby spinach and garlic on the side. Quickly sautéd using a bit of sesame and canola oil, with some soy sauce and garlic salt + a bit of added water. I honestly can't remember all the different herbs and spices I used in both the duck and the spinach because I had so many out in front of me and I didn't really make a note but I tried to remember and include the most important ones haha

I remember the first time I tried this, I was blown away, I guess I still am amazed every time I try it. such a great product taste, texture, versatility great job. 👏
