Just had some pulled jackfruit BBQ delicious sandwiches… Love it!!
Usually when I see some new product that intrigues me, I at least decide to try it. In this case I had already eaten the Jackfruit but I cooked it myself. The first thing I noticed while eating this product was the taste of the pickling liquid in which the jackfruit sits when it's in the can. It has probably not been rinsed and squeezed properly, because I immediately felt it on the palate, which is rather annoying, as you can feel that persistent taste of vinegar. Also if you don't like the smoked taste, don't buy this product as it is quite invasive. I'm glad that there are more and more Vegan alternatives, but I don't think I would buy this product again, it wasn't bad, but it didn't convince me.
