Plant Based No-Sausage Roll

The plant-based sausage roll feels like an elusive creature. This was the second time I can remember sighting this specimen in a 7-Eleven store 😅. It's no health meal but it's filling, hot, and savoury for $4.50. #sausageroll

Every time my partner and I head up to the Sunny Coast we stop at either 7-Eleven or a Pie Face servo and grab a sausage roll. If you’re driving up the Bruce Highway and your car interior isn’t showered in pastry flakes, you’re doing it wrong 🥲 This is a pretty good take on a servo sausage roll and I love the convenience. It can be a little dry, so best get that tomato sauce for dipping.

Vegan food everywhere! 7eleven has no sausage roll 🤤

I challenge any meat-eater to tell me the difference between this and any other servo-type sausage roll. You can’t, there is none. These are awesome, obviously not on the level of a gourmet sausage roll but in terms of replicating a non-vegan product, this one gets a 10/10.

A very good snack. It goes nicely with tomato sauce.
