This vegan substitute for pork bacon made by East Village could easily be mistaken for
the animal-based version. I first had it on a pizza and in a salad at Secret Pizza Society and was blown away! It is made from seitan and is amazingly delicious! Great that it is also available in grocery stores. If you are still eating pork bacon, please give this a try!
