Mango Orange Blossom

At first I was skeptical about this brand, but I’m so glad I gave it a chance. The yogurt was totally worth the extra price and calories compared to other vegan yogurts. It’s literally the best yogurt I’ve ever had since becoming vegan. The texture is so on point and the flavor is so unique and delicious. This yogurt is perfect in every way. I can’t wait to try other flavors of this brand!

I had high expectations for this yogurt, and it still managed to exceed them! I learned about Culina shortly after starting my abillion journey (around 6 months ago?) and had been searching in vain ever since. You can imagine how floored I was to discover it at Grocery Outlet of all places, and for only $0.99/cup! This was, without hyperbole, the thickest vegan #yogurt I have ever encountered — my spoon was standing bolt upright — probably not unrelated to the fact that it knocks out 80% of the recommended daily saturated fat intake in one 5oz serving. It was incredibly rich and decadent, yet surprisingly not too sweet; I loved the fruity and tropical flavor, which evoked fond memories of the mango pudding I once coveted at dim sum restaurants. I wholeheartedly recommend it and only wish I’d had the presence of mind to buy a few more cups!

I love Culina yogurt! This may be my fave brand of vegan yogurt available to me. The yogurt is mainly coconut; the texture is thick and creamy. There’s not too many ingredients and they are all simple: coconut, water, mango, maple syrup, agar, probiotics, orange blossom oil. If you’re looking for a protein yogurt, this is not it. If you’re looking for a yogurt that tastes totally indulgent but is relatively wholesome, this is it. Culina has some creative and delicious flavors and this one is no exception. It is a bit tangy, a bit sweet and pretty bright. Culina can be pretty pricey ($3-4) so I only purchase it every once in a while. This flavor, however I found at Grocery Outlet for .99 so I squealed and grabbed the two remaining. A bummer is that Culina used to be sold in glass jars and now they are sold in plastic that is not recyclable in my area. The glass jars were better for the environment and were such a perfect size to reuse. (I use them to store chopped garlic, ginger, herbs etc in the fridge when I’m prepping ingredients.) If you’ve not had Culina before and wish to try it, my suggestion would be to start with the Bourbon Vanilla flavor. Very tasty! This is how packaging should be, with a reusable jar and just a small cardboard or paper to recycle.

Such a gorgeous product that is equally delicious. This is one of my favorite yogurts indeed and I love the creative flavor!
