Tried this before but not since they switched to the smol packages, seems to be the same yoghurt still. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Its a bit too sour and a tad bitter and not as rich and creamy as a soygurt but since i like gurts its totally fine when mixing in a spoonful of soy protein for sweetness. I would not pick this over soygurt or buy it at full price tho 😵

This “natural” flavour definitely has more of a tang to it than the vanilla - probably because it has about a seventh of the sugar 😂 but I enjoyed it a lot and will likely get again. #yoghurt #yogurt #veganyogurt #almondyoghurt #plainyoghurt

Lucky enough to find this on sale! Checkers had it marked for R79, on sale for 59! Still too pricey but nice as a treat I thought it tasted lovely with fresh fruit and homemade granola I’ll keep an eye out for more sales

A new product now available at Checkers, available in other flavours as well. While this says sweetened on the front, it doesn’t taste like it at all. It is even more sour than plain yogurt (so would be great to use with fruits for breakfast as well as in savoury dishes). Has the same consistency as greek yogurt. Fortified with calcium (300 mg per 250 g) which is brilliant and on par with the calcium content of regular yogurt, B12, B2 and Vit D. It is R89 for 1 litre (for reference: Woolies Cultured Soya is R39,99 for 500 g and Cultured Coconut is R72,99 for 500 g). A really exciting product for us SA vegans.
