Green Goddess Dressing

i saw this had wonderful reviews and was like eh… i’m not reallly an avocado fan. this does not just taste like avocado. it is AMAZING! it’s very fresh and summery, and i use it for waaaay more than salads. i use it for salads, dips, to mix into other sauces, pasta salad, and even use it as a sandwich spread sometimes. this green goddess dressing is super versatile and if i can only purchase one dressing this is the one i go for. i can definitely taste hints of all the main ingredients listed on the front— the basil, chives, and especially green onion. it’s a little lemony, and not super avocado-y (although i can still taste it. 100% go get this dressing.

I understand why people rave about this stuff now! This is delicious and the basil makes it taste like pesto, but much more lemony and vinegary like a salad dressing should be. I love the simple ingredients too.

TJ's take on Green Goddess is so delicious! It's Herby without being astringent. The avocado really gives it a nice smooth taste and adds substance to an otherwise incredibly light dressing. It goes really well with peppery vegetables such as arugula and radish. It also makes a beautiful pasta salad. And of course, vegan feta pairs perfectly with it and really rounds out the flavor profile. If you have a Trader Joe’s by you this is definitely a staple. Green goddess dressing. Fantastic in pasta salads , salads, make a dip with it.
