Flatbread Meatless Italian Sausage Style Crumbles, Roasted Pepper & Kale

tried this Daiya Meatless Italian Sausage Style Crumbles, Roasted Pepper & Kale Flatbread cause it was on sale and it’s honestly not bad, it just doesn’t have much flavor like the variety of toppings led me to believe it would. everything tastes very subtle except for the bites with the beyond saus’ge crumbles, and i felt like it was just missing something. 🍕🌶️🥬

They did a really good job on this one! They taste better than their pizzas.

I was impressed with the texture of the crust given that it’s gluten free, and the stringiness of the cheese too - managed to get pretty decent cheese pulls. Beyond that though, I found it to be more on the bland side. There were hints of saltiness here and there from the crumbles and kale but that was about it. Could not taste the sweetness I was expecting from the roasted peppers or any smokiness from the sausage either. I’m open to trying their other topping variations of this flatbread range still, perhaps there’ll be something more flavourful!

CONTAINS COCONUT AND PEA PROTEIN I liked this but I do wish there were more toppings. The cheese was good. The roasted peppers were good. The sausage was good. Kale wasn’t bad at all actually. If this was more affordable I might get this more often. I really like that it’s a smaller portion than their classic pizzas. They have a lot of sodium! I hate to say it…. But I liked this one even less than the last one I reviewed. Same thoughts in terms of feeling ripped off with the size. I did not like the flavour or toppings - not sure what kind of vegan sausage crumble they used, but I was not a fan. And there is pepper and kale on it, which just ended up soggy and sad. Not a fan, would definitely not repurchase. @daiya please do better!! #daiya #flatbread
