these had a touch of flavor in the coating not found in your standard #fakechicken. there are breaded so a little different texture also but great to make a #vegansandwich more filling or in a stir fry - but i cooked them a little first before stirring to crisp the breading. #groceryoutletfinds - on clearance at #groceryoutlet so a very good deal. and a grevillea.

MY FAVOURITE PLANT BASED CHICKEN. Tasty even without any seasonings, high in protein, and not too pricey. Perfect texture for someone with an aversion to slime. I LOVE YOU GARDEIN!

The coating is indeed crispy, beautifully seasoned with a hint of lime and chipotle. The texture of the inside is certainly chicken-like. Nutritionally, there's no shortage of protein and other minerals and vitamins in the chick'n fingers. But I'm not too keen on the long list of ingredients and the abundant sodium content, even though some of the ingredients are non-GMO verified. Rightly or wrongly, it's not enough to deter me from buying this again. One thing I recently noticed at the top of Gardein packaging is the slogan “ALWAYS VEGAN”. I hope the company remains vegan and continues to offer only vegan products. It would be a shame if it were to offer non-vegan products to appeal to a wider customer base.

I like the breading, taste, and texture of these. The chipotle lime flavoring is very light though.. almost undetectable. I wish they had more of a kick.

Very weird flavour. Don’t recommend. I much rather prefer other gardein tenders.
