This was definitely creamy but maybe a little too salty for me.. There was a bit of an aftertaste that I wasn’t too keen on, but overall it was really good. The texture was good and none of the noodles were hard or weird, like so many other freezer mac ‘n cheese. It’s fine if you’re in a pinch. It’s what you’d expect from frozen Mac n cheese.
Mix with veggies as a “base” for a heartier meal… add some sausages for a little kick. Smallish portion, but really good. Easy prep
Picked this up while on a road trip. It was as good as frozen Mac and cheese gets. Big portion for 5$
This is probably the best frozen vegan Mac and cheese dish I’ve tried. The cheese sauce is incredibly creamy and it’s a decent portion size too. The price could be better. I believe it was $4.99 or $5.99 for this box, and I bought it at a Walmart neighborhood market. My son loves it though and I’m happy about the cardboard tray rather than plastic since you have to microwave it and I’ve never been comfortable microwaving plastics. I always take the plastic film off even if the directions say to leave it on. Adding frozen peas halfway through its cook time for some additional protein is something I like to do, especially for my toddler who only likes broccoli, carrots and peas. 😪 #macandcheese #vegankids #kidsmeal #frozenmeal #chaocheese
