This chili oil is super interesting in flavor because of the ingredients like the fermented soybean and bean curds. If you usually use chili oil with lots of garlic flavor, don’t expect that from this one. The chunks give a nice texture and make it fun to top cold tofu with. There’s a good amount of heat, and my favorite ingredients in the chunks are the peanuts! There’s also these small cubes of what I’m assuming are the fermented soy beans, and they are hard a little dry. Overall I enjoyed this chili oil and found it very unique compared to others Ive had.


We love laoganma products!! We have tried a few of them and they are all delicious. Our favorite is probably the Spicy Chili Crisp as it has delicious spicy and fried flavors 😋 this one is nice and mild and has a fermented flavor. Both are nice and I definitely recommend.
