crisp in this bar. It's a tasty go-to snack, and only gets just a bit too sweet as I finish the last bite.
Bought at about $5.50 from Guardian!
to eating chewy-style bars, so the chocolate coating and crunch caught me by surprise. Texturally it was like a cross between a Crunch bar that had melted and resolidified, and a Twix without the caramel, as it had both crisps and spots that were reminiscent of a hard-baked cookie. To me, there wasn’t much of a peanut butter flavor; the #chocolate more or less overpowered any nuttiness. It was very sweet but didn’t taste too overpoweringly of stevia or erythritol.
I think this is good if you want a protein bar that doesn’t taste anything like a protein bar. I get that people may not feel comfortable with how processed they are, though. I received this one for free (it was expired and someone left it in the break room,) but they’re fairly expensive online; I would not buy them at full price. It’s also important to note that not all flavors are #plantbased (look for the label — other varieties contain whey.) Even though I don’t see myself purchasing them again, I wish they could all be made vegan. #ditchdairy
texture of the bar. Has a hint of saltiness and the peanut flavour is quite strong. Some bits of the chocolate melts almost immediately in your mouth, mixing that with the krispies… it’s 💯
be honest... But it is!
