My family often eats rice porridge. These braised #peanuts are great for eating with the porridge. It’s not too salty and quite soft in texture. My parents are concerned about “heatiness” from raw or roasted nuts so this is a good option. Heatiness is a concept from traditional Chinese medicine.

One of my fav brands of peanuts, simply because it tastes good and is one of the cheapest at the supermarket.
花生可以配饭或粥吃。很方便，不需要煮。有蛋白质。但不会那么健康，加酱油和糖。 These are a quick and tasty protein source you can eat with porridge or rice. Not the healthiest though there’s quite a bit of flavouring.
I could just eat a can of peanuts paired with teochew-style porridge by myself especially in such cooling weather.
