These were much nicer than I was expecting. Tasted of bacon ISH but the taste was quite mild. Crisped up quite nicely in the stir-fry I put them in. Texture was again quite soft to start with but when crispy was better. Not sure I'll get it again but not a bad option to have available.

Still on the lookout for interesting new plant-based bacons. So far I am still most impressed by the bacon of THIS - others such as this one from Richmond tends to remain very bacony-looking and it's very nicely done with the white parts too. But it doesn't fry as well and remains rather artificial and stiff, when you want it to sizzle and really look and taste like bacon. It's not quite there yet, but it isn't awful either.

Sono molto combattuta perché il sapore e la consistenza sono quelli del bacon croccante e l’affumicato lo rende incredibilmente ‘carnoso’. Ha però un difetto che ultimamente riscontro nelle finte carni vegetali: INDIGESTO! Peccato perché è veramente originale e sembra vero bacon.

Okay so I never liked bacon pre-vegan - but we saw 3 packs of these in the reduced section soooo me and my partner picked them up (he’s semi vegan - slowly converting him) These in a bagel with some vegan cheese and ketchup - AMAZING.
