Really dry. Pastry is good, but the filling only fills it half way so they are half empty. Tesco are better

#sustainablepalmoil These are a little bit dry - I dipped mine in hummus. I think that ‘original’ pork pies have some kind of 🤢 meat jelly in them - but perhaps Sainsburys can come up with something to add a little moisture? The pastry is nice & thick. The inside is well-seasoned. A good, non-messy picnic option!
Took these to a picnic. This is one product that hasn’t quite been cracked yet, I’ve tried a few “pork” pies. A little too dry and the pastry is not right, but it has the “jelly” unlike some others. Hoping they improve again.
Tasty. Plant Pioneers have absolutely nailed their No Pork Pies. No nasty Herby taste or nasty aftertaste. Water Crust pastry and filling spot on.
These were SO dry! I don’t think I’ll be getting them again…
