Very hot day in Lindos, so thrilled that this vegan cafe wasn’t too difficult to find. We went upstairs to the roof terrace where there was a welcome breeze. The view was spectacular and the food and service were excellent.
I chose the Vuna Sandwich, which is described as ‘veg tuna sauce, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, served with tomatoes, spring onion and cucumber salad.’ It was 14€ (Sept ‘24)
The Vuna (veg tuna) is chickpeas. The roll was pleasing, soft, yet crusty. There were gherkins inside and vegan mayo.
I was grateful for the vegan protein, which had been sadly lacking at our hotel buffet.
Also ordered an unnecessary sharing plate of homemade fries (served with garlic mayo and ketchup) as we had skipped breakfast and been swimming. They all got eaten and were delicious.
