Oh my gosh is this soooooo good! Topped with delicious granadilla ice cream, I almost lose my mind every time I enjoy their ice creaM! Wow wow wow! Great value and taste.

Vegan waffle WITH two scoops of ice cream for R79 or one scoop for R57 from Kristen's Kick-Ass Ice Cream. I don't care what vegan ice cream in Cape Town is made of. The issue I have is that the prices of all artisanal brands are INSANELY exorbitant and therefore somewhat exclusive in terms of budget. The scoops at Kristen's are HUGE, and when you order Oreo ice cream, you get actual generous CHUNKS of whole biscuit, not just a smattering of a few crumbs buried somewhere in a small scoop that costs a fortune (for what you get). The Kristen's waffle (with two scoops) can DEFINITELY be shared: it was too big, even for me! If I could change anything, I'd like to see more than two vegan options available in their daily offerings on the display counter. This is the one category where all the other artisanal ice cream parlours are leading. Also: don't forget to ask for "VEGAN" waffles. I assumed the waffles were all vegan by default (which would be an easy administrative hack to implement). They are not. We were met with frustration when we didn't specify "VEGAN" after our waffles had been prepared. Now I know, and so do you. #veganisnotscary 🧇🍦🍨🏆

Had this a while back. A fluffy, light waffle served hot with a choice of their delicious ice creams. It is big enough to share. Think it's time to go again
