Vegan toasted sandwhich with vegan cheese, pesto and tomatoes

If you’re after a quick bite to eat this is a really nice option. The toastie is small but very flavourful and at R55 it’s affordable. The atmosphere at the Coffee Roastery at Lourensford is so tranquil also. Very nice way to spend a mid morning.

It was down as vegan on the menu which really excited me when I saw it. It tasted really nice! I very recently became vegan and this was my first restaurant vegan dish and I would happily order it again! It is also reasonably priced. It doesn’t have any side with it but it filled me enough.
