Taste isn’t bad. But not something that will make you crave for it either.. hmm.. honestly portion is miserable. (If you look at other reviews you can see how sad my bowl of pho looks) From the pho to ingredients.. $12 is too pricey even if it’s an air conditioned eating place. But they are kind to give me some Mala chilli to try. Also I did mention how small the portion was and they did say we could request for more noodles cos they see a lot of wastage. Oh their lemongrass chilli is a must get.. 👏🏻 Will still want to visit again for other items on the menu..
Good to know I satisfy my pho cravings with this plant-based option! Ingredients in this are not as substantial as The Kind Pho’s offering, but it still tastes like proper pho! I would have preferred more leafy greens in it tho so might just add that on next time.
Not that good - meh at best. The soup is incredibly sweet (in a bad way) and tastes artificial. All the plant-based meats are the usual kind of plastic-y stuff you find in hawker meals - but at 4x the price. Portion was really small too and won’t be enough for 1 person’s meal.
I was just messing around on deliveroo as I miss Vietnamese food. The last time I had pho was in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) in Vietnam which was like 3 years ago. I was surprised to find this Vegan Pho and it was good! The broth was so flavorful, and I don’t really know how to describe it other than that. It was really good. The tofu was firm with a nice texture and the seafood was typical of any other Asian mock seafood. Overall very enjoyable. It’s kinda pricey at $14 so I think this is a once in awhile meal. Also really appreciate separating the noodles from the soup! It allows the rice noodles to not get soggy!
