Vegan patties

I really enjoyed these homemade patties that weren’t too oily

This was so good. It was nice to have a fresh homemade patty (chickpeas and butternut). The salad was also tasty

We opted to try out the Village Cafe as we saw it had outdoor seating and a gorgeous jungle gym built into a tree (more of a tree house, I guess?). A truly lovely setting 🌳 We saw a few rabbits hopping around 🐰 and the owner explained there are 15 of them, who she rescued. They roam around freely and she feeds them and cares for them (so it is definitely not a “petting zoo” of any sort!). Our meal was the only vegan option on the menu (besides a napolitana pasta, which was not marked as vegan but I would presume it is) - we enjoyed it, although it wasn’t particularly filling and the patties were more like fritters, I would say. We had ordered a side of chips for the table, which helped to fill us up a bit. All in all, I would recommend this spot for the overall experience but not if you are very hungry 😋 #greyton #greytonfarmanimalsanctuary
