Vegan matcha chocolate cheesecake

Extremely thick, and sweet vegan cheesecake. The texture definitely screams cheesecake, so that's pretty good. The matcha is very heavy and sweet, which reminds me of pandan. The chocolate is also extremely sweet. Lowkey 'can feel the sweetness in my throat' kind of sweet. Honestly it was a no for me, because I prefer bittersweet matcha/chocolate. The crust was also pretty thin and soggy, unlike a typical cheesecake crust. $7.50 per slice.

Not a big fan of Matcha in general but I thought this cake was not bad. I really loved 😍the bottom half of the cake, if they made an entire chocolate cake slice out of that, I would probably be eating it more often than I should be. Feat @poppyhenderson who’s been eagerly waiting weeks to try it

Been waiting to try this for ages as it’s always sold out when I visit (which I’m both equally happy yet sad about!) This is the first vegan cheesecake I think I’ve ever had and I have to say it compares to what I remember dairy cheesecake tasting like perfectly. It’s quite rich so a small piece is all you need! Has a perfect crumbly biscuit base which offsets against the heavy taste of the cream. Was about $7 so definitely on the pricey side, but if you’re a cheesecake fan this one is definitely for you 🍰

Thanks to @chaozhang leaving I got to have this delicious cake. Jk we will miss you dude!! But the cake is really good, I would recommend. The matcha taste could be stronger but the texture was smooth and creamy, just a small slice is enough because it's quite rich. Would not have minded more of the crumble base though.
