Toasted Coconut Cake

This toasted coconut cake was listed as vegan and gluten free on their paper menu, but the menu online does not say it’s vegan. My server assured me it was vegan. Anyway, I have not had much cake since going vegan. I have quite the sweet tooth, so this was a real treat! The slice was huge and it was a great amount to split with my date. The frosting was lightly sweet and perfectly creamy. The cake was surprisingly good for being gluten free! I have never had a gluten free cake that I like because they’re usually dry, but this was perfectly moist and delectable.
