This tastes okay-ish. But it is drowning in oil and I can’t get past it. You know when bread starts looking transparent because it’s been cooked in so much oil… it’s like that. #veganisnotscary

Next-level gloomy weather in Cape Town today called for next-level comfort food 🌧 Cue: this heavenly sandwich (seriously, I swear I could hear angels singing as I ate it) 👼 absolutely delicious! And a huge portion, wow. I should not have eaten it all in one go 😂 I ordered from the Mr D app, and was given a host of options for “extras”... I decided to add some mayo and coconut bacon... only for it to come served on the side. Which was odd. But it worked out well as the incredibly more-ish ‘bacon’ was quite chewy so it was easier to eat on its own. The tub of mayo was huge and, while delicious, the sandwich didn’t need it as it wasn’t dry at all. Minus half a star for the cling wrap! Can’t wait to try out the rest of the Bamboo menu 🎋🐼 #greyton #greytonfarmanimalsanctuary
