Tijuana Tortada

I love seeing vegan restaurants in small towns! This fully vegan restaurant is in the downtown area of Baraboo WI, and makes a perfect lunch stop between Minneapolis and Chicago. It has a very quaint small town aesthetic complete with a rotating dessert case. Thank you @acastillon for the recommendation a while back! I kept it in my mind for the next time I'd be passing through! This really hit the spot. I loved the grilled tortilla and the black beans gave it a lot of substance to be filling. I wasn't expecting the vegan sour cream, but that really put it over the edge into being great! This tortada also features the Cheeze Factory's savory herb cheeze spread. The herbiness reminded me of chimichurri, so I thought it went well with the other ingredients. It did feel a bit spendy at $15.95, but it was a huge serving. #mexican #vegancheese #beans #sandwich
